Default 60' Question

I recently took my car to the track for some fun after the new cam. However the runs were on street tires and I'm curious if there is anyway to figure out an ET using old 60's times. For example the car w/ the old cam went 7.5 @ 91 in the 1/8 with a 1.62 60'. My new 1/4 time was 12.8 @ 109 with a 2.2 60'. Any ideas what the time could have been if I had pulled 1.6 60' times? Or is something like that just impossible to determine? Thanks for answering what might be a dumbass question. Mike

from what ive gathered, the general rule of thumb is every tenth down low is 2 tenths up top. which holds true for the most part.

i ran a 12.5 on street tires with a 1.8 60' then on drag radials i ran a 12.8 with a 2.0 60' BUT, my rear was being stupid and doing the one wheel peel action. I shouldve been able to cut 1.7's or maybe 1.6X's on the DRs and wouldve definately run a 12.2

So if the 1 down low is 2 up top is true it should have ran an 11.6 w/ a 1.6 60' time?

I was gonna say for every 2 tenths down low it's 3 tenths up top.
So if you dropped around 6 tenths off your 60' then you could say 9 tenths off your ET.
BUT, IMO when you start getting WAY off on your 60' this formula may not hold true, if you were off a couple of tenths you could maybe figure but you're talkin' 6 tenths here, not exactly apples to apples.

109 mph all hooked up with a good 60 foot will get you low 12's or maybe even high 11's if you can get in the 1.5 60 foot range.

Well hopefully you're right about the 11's? Hopefully the 2.73's won't hold me back from the 1.5 60's?

You're going to need a converter with a high STR to come off the line hard with 2.73:1 gears. It could be done, but won't be easy.
