Default Trailer Winch
Didnt know which forum figured this was the closest/best place.

The question is I have a 20' Open trailer with a full deck and a 4' dovetail that I want to put a winch on. My question is should I worry about the winch cable rubbing on the trailer during the pull? I figure until the car gets up on the trailer, it will be rubbing on the angle of the dovetail.....

Is it anything to worry about?

If it will cause fraying or problems on the trailer, what is the solution?
