is this possiable there is a guy on another forum that im on that based in my home state he has a 00' Z and he says on stock heads and cam he is running 12.25 could this really be true or should i rais the bs flag and call him out on it ?....imo i think its bull **** but what do you guys think

Look at my sig. 12.4 @ 108 on stock internals and no N20. Plus I have no weight reduction, no LS6 intake, no underdrive pulley and my stall isn't the most effiecient (I could probably improve my times with a Yank SS3600).
Add all that to my car and I'm probably pushing 11.9's. So it is possible but do not dismiss the possibility that he could be full of crap

I would ask what does he consider stock, people used the term stock loosely, I know here in Texas my car stock from the factory it ran 13.8, I have read people in other states running faster than this from the factory, just depends on conditions...
Absoultely possible, a decent cam, bolt ons and a stall or good shifing will get you there. There is a guy in the 11's on all stock internals, bolt ons, and weight reduction here in a 6speed.
