Here is something interesting..
My car usually 60s from 1.32 to 1.30 off the footbrake, always runs the same pretty much - well within a couple hundreths unless there is drastic weather changes. Ever since I put the trans brake/2 step in the car I have been cutting some way better 60 foots but the 330' have never been as good as the slower 60s off the footbrake.. Naturally the car wheelstands harder off the brake/2 step and I have been seeing some 1.22-1.25 60's with zero improvement in overall 1/8 or 1/4 mile ETs lately.
For example, last Friday two passes with an hour,
Footbrake/transbrake
1.295 60' 1.247
3.864 330' 3.881
5.623 594' 5.646
6.020 660' 6.042
113.38 mph 113.63
Doesnt make sense, .048 better 60' and .02 slower at the end and 330. This has happened many times at different tracks.
I dont have the 6.02 off the footbrake on video (it barely lifts the front wheels a foot on a launch for about 10 feet) but the 6.042 is the last pass on here using the transbrake/2 step:

Its pretty simple really, thought it would be fun to see how long it takes for someone to get the correct answer
I'll send whoever answers correctly as is able to prove it with simple math a free (unused of course) bottle of Geddex burnout gaurd and geddex shoe polish.
Jugger got it though, the front of the car is coming down right at the 60' clocks and the nose is tripping the lights.
Car hits around 50.8mph on a 1.29 60 foot, thats approx 75 feet per second. Its about 3.5 feet from the center of the front wheel to the lowest point on the front of the car (intercooler pipe/air dam). Thats .0466 seconds difference which is pretty close to the 'real' 60'
I'll send jugger a powerball lottery ticket instead, he needs that way more then a bottle of burnout gaurd with what that hotrod is costing him lol.

I've seen a lot of that type of thing... More so with bracket racing where guys put "flags" on the nose of their car. That way if they're behind they can grab the breaks hard and make the nose set the ET instead of the tires, it's good for a couple thousanths if not a hundredth.
I bet that was confusing to have the same feeling of around a 1.300 and seeing that 1.24 haha

I have been messing with the thing for almost two years now though and that has a lot to do with it - plus I have had a little experience with cars at the dragstrip for a whie.I just like to figure out why things happen, not that it makes any difference at all but at least now I can tie the front end down a little more and get some consistant 60's back. When the car is in bracket mode it will run within .01-02 all day if its on a decent hooking track which isnt bad for a supercharged car.
Yours doesnt run too bad either, if you are using the hardware you have to its fullest potential thats all you can do. I just dont have a lot of power to work with and I prefer to make 200 mid 9 second passes a year and not do anything then make 50 eight second passes a year and break parts but I'm old and tired
