Default *help* should i buy a TCI converter

im on a buget and a friend of mine is so pisst that im about to buy one, says its a peice of junk? i was looking at the TCI Super Street Fighter, 3500 Stall Speed, 2.5:1 STR or 4000 Stall Speed, 2.7:1 STR .......the 4000 is 50 dollars cheaper? wonder why.......ive had a 4800 stall in the bird before it tore it self to peices and killed the tranny......it would lock up at like 30mph if i was put putting around.....i hate that, can that be changed? i want a yank SS3600 but nobody sells em around here, and i need one like yesterday!!! so gotta settle for the TCI unless yall know something i dont......i think it runs for like $490 for the 4000 stall and $540 for the 3500 stall.....where the yank runs like alittle under $700

thanx

You gotta "settle" for the TCI?? How bout this.... Tell your friend he's a ****** moron and buy yourself a converter from TCI.

And yes you can change the lock-up settings via tuning...
