drag suspension help
drag suspension help copy and pasted from the handling a braking section: i need all the advice i can get
alright, my suspension mods consist of lca's with relo brackets, adj ta, sfc's, and tubular kmber, but with stock shocks and springs. personally i would like the car to be a little lower but its not a MUST. what im looking for is a drag suspension for the street. my suspension right now is really stiff and with no weight transfer. our local track hooks really good and the car has seen 1.6x 60fts so im not worried too much about track racing. i want a shock and spring setup (or just shocks) that will pretty much dead hook my car from a dig on the street. can someone please help me?

i agree with the tire part of it but the stock style suspension record (meaning aftermarket stuff like UMI, Spohn, BMR, wolfe and the like carry that bolts on) is very well in to the single digits on a turbo car, if you have aftermarket stock style suspension you'll be fine unless you plan on goin deep 8's high 7's

QA1s Rs up front soft with QA1s in the rear and a 6 cylinder spring in the rea that will get the weight transfer down and you can set the ride height with the QA1S up front so it should give you the height that you want. on the street i wouldnt go with a big anti roll bar in the back cause on the street that body roll will help you hook, shifting the weight around over the tires, on the track i love my wolfe anti roll bar.
Maybe i am wrong but i raced on the street making a little over 500hp to the tires on the bottle and this is what i have discovered working for me.
