PS removal and shortbelt Part # ? Hi guys,
Just wondering what part number you all use for the shortbelt mod with ASP Crank AND alt UD pullies. I am seriously considering a manual rack from Madman and taking off the power steering stuff all together. That will save 25 pounds and give me about .07 ET from less parasitic drag from powersteering and weight loss.

Everyone I know that has used the shortbelt mod has gotten around .04 with it.
That with 25 pounds off the front could be worth .06-.07 easy dont you think?
Anyways, anyone have a part number for me?

Re: PS removal and shortbelt Part # ? I've taken off as much as 40# at one time and never saw a faster time once.I've been in 11.6-11.7 range without ASP pulley and was wondering if it would be worth it at this point in time .I know everyone else as gained about a tenth but they where running in the 12's.
