Replacement Light Weight Spindles

Made a few calls today about spindle/steering knuckles
Santhuff makes set for $945 but also requires custom A-arms to be made to fit their spindle/steering knuckles
AJE makes a set of stock replacement spindle/steering knuckles for $699 that will fit stock A-arms, but will need a 3rd Gen style brake kit, like Aerospace or Wilwood.
He custom makes them and can go ½ to 2” drop (Minimum is ½ drop).

Those units from AJE that require a 3rd gen brake setup actually sound like a good option as well... the $ you're spending on the spindles, you are almost saving in teh price difference from a 4th gen to a 3rd gen brake kit. look @ the prices of say strange drag brakes, the cost differnece from a 3rd gen kit to a 4th gen kit is huge!

I remember seeing pictures of spindles that someone had drilled out. If I remember correctly it might have been someone from Wheel to Wheel.
Just another option I guess.

Verdad Gallardo There's got to be some lightweight brake setup that can be used..... the price gap is probably the same, only differnence being that wilwood just doesn't make a 4th gen kit that I know of anyway.
I used the AJE spindle setup on the 25.2 Bird I am building. Its quality pieces but the geometry was all wrong. It took alot of work to correct the issues.
By the way the kit came with Strange front brakes.

I saw those for sale a while back. they had 3 or 4 circular holes drilled in them.

I heard from a reputable chassis shop in the area that they had a few problems with AJE spindles. Do they have a lot of Q.C. issues? I'm going to call them back as soon as I get the chance.
