Default Wheel studs?
How long of a wheel stud do I need to be approved to run at a nhra track? I run weld draglites.

Stud should extend through the lugnut the same distance as the diameter of the stud.

arp only has 2.5 and 3.25 in 12mm
2.5's are too short

2.5in studs in front with prostars/spacers are too short


3.25 in the back is what i run

Get the 3.25's and cut the 1/4" off. I've heard both that the stud has to be the distance of the diameter of the stud into the hex portion of the lug or basically half the distance in the hex portion of the stud. -Mark

Why would anyone cut off 1/4"??? Longer won't hurt anything.

nope, especially considering that you have to have an open ended lug anyway

Yea so after I install these longer lugs I wont be able to run my salad shooters with the center cap correct.
