Hi guys,
Who thinks it is OK to drill lightening holes on the backbrace of a rearend?
I am building my 9 inch and it is getting pretty heavy. I have never seen any pics of this being done so I was wondering if it might be a bad idea.
Thanks

It is a waste of time drilling holes in the back brace. It dosn't weight much.. If you want to lighten the moser 9" I would go with a Aluminum center section, spool, gun drilled axles and some light weight brakes like Wilwood or strange
