comp. engineering drag shock problem
Just ordered 2 shocks and one adjusts fine, but the other will not seem to adjust at all. on the second one I compress the shock fully, and there seems to be a "hole" or catcher where the piece should go into and then fit in place allowing it to turn, but its like the hole has rounded edges, so when I turn it to adjust it just slips out (and also extends the shock a small amount). This happens when I try turning it either way. clockwise seems to hold more but still slips, while counter clockwise barely grabs at all.
I tried my hardest to not let the shock extend (so it wouldnt slip out of the catcher) but it would not happen.
It is easy to extend and pretty hard to compress and i assume its on the most clockwise setting, 30/70.
Obviously I will try to call comp eningeering/moroso after the 1st, but just wanted to see if anybody could offer another suggestion to try untill then.
thanks, Kenny
Comp eng/moroso said to call the place I got it from, I called Speed Inc and they said to send it back and they'd send a new one right away. I had to pay for the shipping but I didnt bother calling Comp Eng. about this, I didnt really care to spend my time trying to get a refund on that. So I got a new one and they are on the car now. Work good so far.
