Simpson 5pt harness???
I have a 94 z28 camaro. I plan to keep the stock factory seats and run those 5pt simpson harness belts. My question is I recently bought a wolfe 6pt bolt in roll bar and I wanted to order the right harness for my set-up. I was looking at part number SIM-29064BK indv strap style -wrap around. Will this harness wrap around the roll bar and bolt in my factory locations for the seatbelts??

Isn't want makes the harness a 5-pt harness, the anti-submarining strap that comes up between your legs? The racing seats that can accomodate 5-pts have the hole in the lower cushion so it can come up through. Will a 5-pt harness even work with a factory seat?

Well, you learn something new everyday, don't ya? But I still wouldn't advise spending all the money for the rollbar/harnesses, and then having the stock seats be your weak link.

Well your's aren't as bad as mine, but they still aren't gonna keep you in place nearly as well as an aftermarket seat will. And it's safer when you can have the belts go through their own holes, so they are secure.

They secure just fine under the headrest on the t/a. And in a straight line Im held in just fine. Also its not my fault nhra says I need a roll bar under 11.49. Or is it?
