But atleast if you have to add weight by mounting in the rear the weight is in the right spot, on the rear of the car so there is a plus!!

IMO I rather loose 35lbs upfront and gain 46 in the rear (batt + wire) then to only to loose 20lbs up front. You want a better weight distribution to favor the rear. More weight off the front will put more pressure on the rear tires.

Yellowmonster- That's what I did.... Opt 3.

I got all the stuf to relote last year. came to over $250 to do it right and weighed 10Lbs more. I decided not to do it but now that I am getting the car ready for 9s I really have no choice.

At least I already have all the stuff

I talked to my local speed shop and they said that if your runnin a Gel battery such as an optima then you are not required to run a sealed box...but for all others you are required to adhear to the sealed box policy.

2fast...where did you buy your stuff....im still lookin for a good deal on everything this weekend may not work out but pics will def be posted when i get it done!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got every thing from Jegs.com If I remember right even with a Gel you have to run a bulkhead or box

NHRA has not changed the rule yet to recognize the gel batteries...

They are definatly behind the times.

This mod isn't for everyone. 0/1 is highly suggested and it isn't cheap when you add up the 6-8 dollars a foot and all the connectors, mounts, and heatshrink you will need.

My car starts and runs accs much better after a relocation with 0/1 even though you have more "potential" distance to drop v over.
