Once you make a car really fast in the 1/4, it probably is no longer built to do well around a track in my opinion.

I have to agree with everyone with the money thing as well, Costs me 20 bucks to drag race, its close ect, there are tracks around here to race but seriously spending big bucks on it is rediculous in my mind, my brother does auto cross events in his sti, has not gone in over a year because of the money! To trailor his car from NH to lets say penn or ohio or even conneticut with a 2500 series and hotel rooms food ect is very very expensive. Id rather and now himself just drag race.
