silly question about drag wheels and drag radials me and my buddy have the same tire 275/50/15 mickey thompson except he has his on a 10 inch wheel and mine is on an 8 inch wheel , i like the way it looks better on the 10 inch
so my question is since the tire calls for a wheel from 7.5 to 9.5 in width will the 10 inch wheel hurt the performance by not letting the sidewall wrinkle as much ?

The 10" rim spreads the tire footprint a hair more than an 8" rim will. This is why a bunch of people that are restricted to a 275/60/15 tire in drag radial classes will run a 9-10" rim instead of an 8" rim.
Most 28 x 10" slicks call for a 9-10" rim but plenty of people run them on an 8" rim and it effectively narrows the sidewall bulge and the footprint versus say a 10" rim.
