Bolt-on M6 pulls a tire!
The car was constantly running mid 1.8x's shorts when they finally prepped the track. On a 5200 clutch dump, the car cut a 1.78 short and ran a 12.15@116, while pulling the front left tire a couple inches. The best pass of the night was a 1.80 12.07 @ 116 with a slight haze of the tires at the launch. Here is a break down of the car; lid, headers, tru dual with tail pipes, spec stg 3, nitto 275/60 on welds, skinnies, 9" with 4.11's, full UMI suspension, QA1's up front, COMP 50/50's out back, home ported TB and a tune. We have the relocation brackets on the bottom hole and the pinion angle set to -2 deg.
I think that's pretty fast for a bolt on 02 Z28 at full weight (3480 w/o him) on Nitto's. I think he will be going to a MT DR and shooting for 11's.
The fast forward to 3:30 to see his 1.78 launch.

What is the bolt-on M6 record?
