Is this still safe?? Well somehow one of my brake brackets snapped in half last weekend. Luckly it did not happen during a pass. After the bracket snapped, it cut up the inside of my rim pretty bad and put one small indention that you can see in the below pic. So do you all think the rim is still safe or should I look into getting one new alumstar to replace it?

Good thing it's a 3 piece wheel and you only have to buy a rear dish if it is unsafe.

Its a 3 piece wheel, but the outer shells are welded together on the inside so to replace, it would need the whole outer rim.
If it was me, I'de call weld and get a new outer rim from them. That little bit of money is worth it to me as a safety precaution incase the other rim does split and sends the car in the wall.
