Talking More pics of the 25.5 progress

These bottom bars are a major PITA to do

This is where the bars go thru the floor and tie into the main cage:

The front most (foot bars) tie into the windshield pillar floor (had to cut the frame). This picture shows it before the patch panels reconnecting the cut area are reinstalled:

Are you adding to your existing 10 pt? This is something I will be needing to address in the very near future.

yes we are...luckily we designed the 10-pt with the mindset that we will be upgrading later. Thats why the pillar bars are going thru the floor and we went ahead and put the dash bar and rocker bars on.

Wow that is a ton of work! Looks really good.
A quick question if you don't mind, does your torque arm mount allow for movement front and back?
Thanks

Neither can I

Hopefully the cage will be done soon....takes a while when you only work on it one day a week

I have most all the stuff I need to finish the turbo plumbing so that'll be the next task

It's because of the type of certification that he is going for. 25.5, as long as it's moly is good for 7.50 in the quarter mile. Just added protection and should keep the car nice and tight

And by the way, looking good

SFI 25.x specs (required for 8.49 and faster certifications) require an undercar structure.
