I plan on takin the stickers off and putin a stock dash back in. Im happy with the new project. Now to decide what motor and tranny should go in it? Any suggestions?

But true. Money is going to be your limiting factor. Turbo ($$$$); or forged bottom end stock engine, with good heads/cam, built tranny, nice rear-end, and than spray the crap out of it. A lot of weight reduction. 10's can be done - even possibly 9's.

Thought I'd point out that is a 3.4 engine in there, not a LT1, so its not a Z. But it doesn't matter anyways. Solid car, and a good buy for $300. Like everyone has said, your pockets and imagination are the only limiting factor. SBC would probably be the cheapest route to go.

If you dont come across motor and trans package deal either Lt1 or LS1 jus skip them and the SBC and go BBC 
sweet deal with it being a 3.4car, that jus means cheap insurance and still being able to run 9 seconds. lol
