Taller tire?

Taller tire? If you put a taller tire on a car say going from a 26 to a 28 without changing shift points on a auto trans. What would the outcome be in the 1320? Would the car et and mph the same,higher,lower?
it's the equivalent of taking out some gear. for example, my 4.56's with 28" tires is roughly the equivalent of a 4.20 with 26" tires. of course, i know there is no 4.20 gearset, it was just an example. the # is just off the top of my head, but it's close.
so, you would be slower in the 1/4 bottom line with taller tires if you weren't geared for them.

Maybe that explains my slower 1/4 mph is down also. I was ronning the 26in hoosier qtp,s and got a set of mickey et drags the rollout was supposed to be the same but they sure stand taller.
