Default Line lock?

I don't know if this is the right place to be posting but it seems fine enough. I'm sure most of you have a line lock and i was wondering where you bought them. Thankyou

I recently bought an SLP and it locked up my brakes within a few miles of putting it on, with no wiring hooked up.

They sent me a replacement selenoid, but I'm not putting it on until I go to the track because I worry it might do it again.

Just a heads up because I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Props to SLP for replacing it, though.

SLP here. No problems. About 90 minutes to install. Mostly spent all contorted up under the dash trying to put the wiring through the firewall grommet.

I got the set from Thunder Racing with the pre-bent lines. It is a pretty nice kit and isn't too tough to install. I did it myself in just a few hours while drinking several beers and jammin' in the garage at a leisurely pace. I'd definitely recommend it.

+1 on SJM Manufacturing's customer service, though. If their kit is any good, I'd definitely buy from them.

Thank for your comments! To be fair, most kits that you see will all work. Differences lie in the circuit that is used to control the line lock. (and customer support)

Our kits use a master switch with remote LED and control switch. Think of how your cruise control works. This is similar to how ours function. Just as you cannot turn your CC on by accident, you cannot accidently deploy the line lock when the master switch is off.

When the master switch is armed, the LED give feedback to the user to let them know the circuit is armed and ready to go! We are the original designers of these kits for F-bodies since ~1995-6. They have stood the test of time.

Our kits are complete, even down to supplying the customer with a new grommet specifically for the power feed wire leading into the cockpit.

Got the SJM ABS delete with the LL here and it works great. Their customer service is even better!!! That would be my choice.
