This has turned out to be a great thread. Will a 5/8 stud go through a Weld wheel?

I wish I would of know that last week I thought of the 5/8's but I also would like to run the stock rims once in awhile. I am going on power tour in june and would hate to have to run big and skinnies the whole way Maybe next year

I guess I could have the stock rims drilled and retapered to fit the 5/8's but I dont think I'll need to go that big for a year or two. Try goin to autozone and getting lugnut for a 5/8" lol

I've got a Moser 9" and my friend has a Strange 12 bolt, with 1/2" X 20 screw in studs. We run at Gainesville Raceway in Florida. The track hooks so good the we both bent hell out of our studs. We put screw in ARP's back in, if they bend I guess 5/8" it is.

Not too bad if they don't break. You did say you need them for a rear you spent over 2 grand on, didn't you?
