Suspension Setup?
I've been looking at suspension mods. I had no idea that it was so cheap to put in new shocks, or I'd have done this long ago.
My question is, how important are the different components? As in, what would be significant on my full-weight car?
Also, would a sway bar be very significant? I've been told that since I only go to the track a few times per year and just to run not to compete, that a rear airbag would be fine instead of a full expensive swaybar.

I'd go with the QA1 shock and front springs. You can use them on the street and re-set the settings for the track. If you only go a couple times a year, the air bag would work.

Let me be honest in asking: why is everyone saying to use the QA1's, when Madman is very sure that the Strange is superior? He says the QA1's adjustment is not consistent, where the Strange is. Any ideas?
Also, if only doing a little at a time, is a beefier rear sway bar more important than doing the shocks? I am considering doing the rear CE shocks anyway since they're cheap and proven. But is a sway bar more important than the front shocks?

everybody runs what everybody else runs.... jimmy runs qa1's so thats what 30 other people run.
i got 1.53 60's with lowering springs, no relocation brackets, front swaybar, stock shocks, and 16" et streets with a t56.
all it had was lca's and a jegster torque arm. 376rwhp.

yeah that is true. but i meen thats the same thing with saying any other performance mod or anyhting in life. you get something for a reason b/c someone else has shown something good w/ the product. everything has to come from somewhere

I would like more info on this too. I am undecided on what shock/spring combo to run up front. I have heard so many opinions. I have heard QA1s are not very good and they wont last and then will leak while others love them and have had great success with them. I have also heard that Strange shocks are superior but what springs does everyone run with them?

People use the QA1's because they WORK!
Other than removing the front swaybar, it's the best mod you can make to hook. (well other than tires). The springs are a waste, I used the prokit with good success. I think the stockers would be a great setup and adjust your ride height with the QA1's in the front.

i have stock front struts, comp engineering rear shocks (b/c they are cheap), and BMR lowering springs (to make the car look good). my car has gone 1.3 60' times. when i stop hooking i will run a set of afcos up front
