Driving to the track 100 miles away...
Driving to the track 100 miles away... Who else does a 100 mile ride to the track? And how crazed am I to think I can drive that far on MT ET Streets, make a few passes, and then drive home? And with no spare tire on board?

i drive 70 miles to rockingham and fayetteville on skinnies, and mt drs no problems
ive driven from raleigh to rockingham (civil wars) in heavydown pour with my setup going 60mph....its not bad...anything over 65 the car started to skate...
as long as there is no rain you should be fine

mine is fine ET Street 26x11.5x17 with about 18psi. Its steady even past 80mph with no swaybar on the front. 245-40-17 on front.
I have never driven it in the rain though and I rarly do drive it on the street but I did do 2 100 mile drives on it last year.

The sidewalls on the ET Streets are WEAK!!! Unless of course they are the ET Street Radials. Any road debris touches that sidewall and you'll be walkin'! Saw it happen in January, luckily he had a spare.

Thanks for the feedback, fellas. So either we are all a little nuts or this actually is a reasonable thing to do lol.
I might chicken out on using these tires for now, as I'm still running the stock rear and it's a long tow ride home from Epping NH.
