Launching!!!!!! Ok this is what I got my camaro (402, 248/254 612/622, 90/90, 6spd, 4:10 gears, 28"MT tire) pulls the front tires off the ground at launch but then drops down to 2200rpms or so. I'm launching around 5700-6000rpms, its getting 1.7-1.4 60's and only running 11.9 @ 119mph. The car had an alum flywheel that was replaced thinking it was the problem and now its slower. I had gone 11.4 @ 121 before.

Not giving us much to go on. More to an ET/Trap than a 60'.

Dropping from 6000 to 2200 at launch is a bad bog. You are bogging because you’re your big 28-inch tires are hooking and your clutch is not slipping enough. Are you side-stepping the clutch? If so, you might get better results by simply lifting your left foot instead. Slowing clutch engagement slightly could be all that is needed to avoid the bog.
Call me stupid, but why would your motor drop to 2000 rpm when you are leaving at 6k and have enough power to run 121 mph in the 1/4?
A 28" tire isn't big, are you leaving off a 2 step with it floored at 6k or reving to 6k, dropping the clutch then hitting the gas?
If you don't have a 2 step, stage up, wait for the lights to drop hit the rev limiter with the gas floored and side step the clutch
