Guys, I need help with choice of slick Ive been using Nittos and M/T et streets and both were good tires, but I decided to keep Nittos for a DD and instead buying rims for the dragstrip
these rims and slicks will be used at the dragstrip only, so I wanna go with a slick.
Im thinking a 15 " x 10 rim with 26" tall slicks
-is this a good combo?
what brand rims should I get, I know bogarts are one of the best, but seem too pricey and although I want the best, these rims are just for weekend drag racing and I dont think Ill be going too much, maybe 2 times a month. so any other brands with light rims and for a good price, if brought to my attention will help.
with the M/T Et streets I was running em at 18 psi and launching @ 5500 RPMs and cutting a 1.78" 60' with aluminum flywheel, boltons and 3.73s moser 12 bolt trutrac.
-what psi should I run my slicks at and launch, how much better of a 60' can I get with that combo?
