Need help with tires

Need help with tires I went racing last weekend w/P 245 50 ZR16 factory tires.
Do they make a drag radial that would fit on a lowered T/A,on my wheels?If so,could somebody direct me to a supplier.
I was running against old school 351 strokers.They had big slicks on their cars,they were pulling me from a dig and winning by half car length.
Please advise,i want to beat them BADLY

Thanks for the info.I could not get into Discount Tire Direct site...yesterday.
I just spoke to them,sounds like i'm going to need wheels too.
