overflow catch can options for LT1's
overflow catch can options for LT1's I have a question regarding the catch can on an LT1 and what you can do to replace it outright. The catch can is plastic and it also serves as the floor for the battery if the battery is there. Well it has one line coming into it that comes from right near the radiator cap. It also has a fill cap coming up from the tank that you can add fluid to? leaving me to believe it is some type of return style can. So can I just run a standard catch can from a company like canton or aerospace components? Or do i need to run a return style catch can like the stock one???? And if so where do i get it? I just want to make sure i stay legal and don't starve my motor for coolant.....

I ordered the std overflow tank but I found myself topping off the radiator ever 2-3 drives. SO, i just bought this one, should work, I have yet to install mine but I can report back when I get around to it.
