They leak and need supports. If you do the doors you won't be able to roll them down.
I guess they windsheild and hatch may not leak if sealed up but most guys I've spoken with say they leak.

I'm buying a spare hatch and I'm going to put lexan on that for those clear perfect race days so I can have the option of the glass or lexan depending on class rules for a particular race but it's only going to be out back.

I think most people that have changed over prefer the oem

The Speedglass 1/4" is about 64bs. I think
Factory is 96lbs.
You can get 1/8" Speedglass that is 32lbs. but it will be way to thin.

either way it will have to be braced on all windows.
Speedglass can be glued in though.

Still at only 28lbs savings plus add the weight of the braces, is it worth it on a street car?
You could probley save weight somewhere else for cheeper/less hassle IMO.

not sure about each window but here is the sqaure ft:
.093" .78 lbs. Per square foot
.118" (1/8")-.94 lbs. Per square foot
.177" (3/16")-1.31 lbs. Per square foot
.236" (1/4")-1.67 lbs. Per square foot

So, the total weight of the Formula hatch assembly is right at 75#'s with the trim but not the gas struts. Take care. Dave
I wonder what the carbon fiber hatch with speedglass would lose in weight...
