Default Spacers or not?

I did search and I waded through 10 pages reading everything relevant.

No clear answer.

I have 15x10 Weld Pro Star XPs (billet center section) with 5.5 BS. I would like to keep the wheels as Weld does not make them anymore. The Strange 12 bolt has been shortened 2.5 inches on each side and I am putting 275 60 15s on the rims.
I need just a teeny bit of clearance just for my peace of mind and I have cut and grinded so much I am sick of it.

So, will a nice billet spacer like Baer offers work with 1/2 inch studs and be safe? I check the torque on the lug nuts once a week cause I am **** like that. It would only be a 1/4 inch spacer at most.
I am thinking with these long *** shanked lug nuts that it should be fine but I need expert opinions before dropping 60 bucks on spacers.
Thanks

I've been running 5/16'' spacers for 1 1/2 years mine.
