Default Power for line lock...

I have my line-lock installed and am currently tapped into a large pink wire in the harness near the fuse panels. Trouble is I did it with a tap and it is some thick gauge wire and a tight spot. It comes loose sometimes and I don't get power to the LL. I'll have to get under the hood and squeeze it.

Tell me an easier place to get power without having to splice.

I get my power from that aux post next to the fuse boxes. Remove the nut, put a good connection to it, toss an inline fuse in, put the nut back on. Been working just fine for me for ~3 years. Just make sure if you do that, to tighten that nut back up good

Yeah, but that isn't a switched source.

Why does it have to be switched?

Yeah, it has a fuse and a switch. It's the Thunder LL, and the directions recommended a switched source. I guess it doesn't matter, I've moved it to the post anyway since.
