Lightbulb !Front Bumper Support = Sag = Penny Mod Fix

After Doing !Front bumper support delete, I noticed that the front fascia was sagging just a little...Most notably was the gap between the hood and the fascia...The gap was measured in at about 8mm after the delete...With this simple mod that gap was reduced to 4mm...
Attached is a simple write up on how to fix this somewhat aggravating eye catcher...

This mod was done after the bumper support was out and front fascia was re-installed

Tools needed: Flat head Screwdriver, 12 pennies, Rubbing alchohol(some cleaner) and some duct tape...

1. Open the hood
2. Remove the 5 fastners that support the center fascia part to the under part of the hood using a flathead screwdriver...Once the fastners are removed lift the fascia up and toward you...
3. Clean the whole area with rubbing alcohol where the front fascia rests in this groove/flange
4. Tear off about a 14inch piece of duct tape...Then tear that piece in half(Long ways) so that each 14 inch piece is about ~1 inch wide...

5. Place 3 pennies staggered roughly the same distance apart from the center fastner hole to the end...Then place the piece of tape over the pennies adhearing it to the metal...

6. Place 3 more pennies over the same exact spot where you did the first time and put your second piece of tape over that...

7. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other side...
8. And Wolah!!!Back to stock again...

I figured the pennies everybody would have more over washers or some other type of shim...Thanks

That's a pretty funny little trick. 12 cents and some tape, that's like some Macgyver **** right there.

It definitely works. There must be a more professional way of doing it though. Lol

Going to attempt this this weekend as my bumper is sagging due to my bumper being cut up for my intercooler. This thread has given me hope to fix that gap. LOL

Any proof? Video or pics? I'm just curious because I hope that's not happening to my car at 100mph..
