Default Help With Choosing Tires!!!!!

Alright, first lets start with the set up....LME 408 running N/A but built to withstand a 400 shot..Car puts down 508/486 on Mustang 1750...I plan on running N/A for the time being...Car has Mad Man save your *** bars, BMR tq arm, dssl,sfc,rear lower control arms...moser 9 inch 4:11...six speed, viper conversion..Just purchased new drag lites 15 x 4on the front and 15 X 10 on the rear.....I'm looking for advise on buying tires....Please give advise for slicks(front runners and rears) and advise on drag radials for around town....thanks in advance

6 speed huh? If it were me I'd go w/ the MT ET Drag 28"x15w's.

Appreiciate the info.....anyone else? I'm looking on running a 205 series on the front....I'm not familiar with slicks and such.....these wheels and tires will only see the track...I'm looking for the right size in al areas.......thnks again

A 205 is too wide for a 4" wheel. Use a wider wheel or a narrower tire.

You want a 26x4.5x15 bias-ply tire in front. (I run a MT ET Front) Don't waste your time on the VW radials. At your power level, you will blow one of those out. As far as the rears go, I would run a MT 28x10.5x15S (S for stiff sidewall) With a 6 speed, you will want the stiffer sidewall.
