Default Installed Madman Adjustable LCA's have ???

I took my old BMR LCA's off and put on my Madman adjustable LCA's yesterday. I measured the old lca's hole to hole and set the madman's the same distance. Is there any advantage to set these different than where I have them? (shorten them/lenghten) My 60's before were 1.62's and want to get some 1.5's...

Only to align the rear end so the car doesn't go right or left on the launch. The adjustablility is designed to help fit a larger tire as well.

That's what I was thinking. My car leaves straight, so I'll just leave them the way they are. I did loose a couple of pounds by swapping though.
