? for guys with spool on the street.

Do your tires hum on the highway?

I am getting what sounds like the tires humming but the car is loud and it might be gear whine but I can't be sure.

The tires are MT DRs.

no sounds from my gears or tires personally. the only time i notice i even have one is if i'm making a tight manuever in a parking lot. have you noticed if you hear it at all times or only during accel, or only on decel? my SS hummed with a stock posi after i had a gear swap done, but only on decel. good luck with it.

No humming, just the "push" or chirpping when going around corners on the street tires.

I have had a couple cars with spools on the street, never had any tire noise except for corners. My SS does have considerable gear whine after going to the track twice.
