et streets or et drags? i have a 01 ws6 m6 3.73's(may go to 4.10)head and camed car 430hp.what tire would be the best to hook for street racing? i may use 75 to 100 shot n.o.s. i just bought some 15in rins to mount tires on. thanks, mike c.
Re: et streets or et drags? If u mean street racing on the street, then get et streets. First of slicks are illegal on the street just like everything else we do to our cars... 
plus if you get caught in they rain your done.
i run et streets cuz at the track i run a lot of street classes that require a dot approved tire.. if you just make regular passes at the track get some drags.

Re: et streets or et drags? Did you watch Court TV recently? Two guys are now in jail for a VERY long time for street racting - and killing someone in the process. Keep it at the track. We don't need any post on "How I am serving time" .
Oh by the way, if you drag race at the track ET Drags are about the only thing that will make you really hook up. Head and cam will dictate gears and size of tire. Higher the RPMs, the more HP, the bigger gears, the bigger the tires.

Re: et streets or et drags? I use bfg Drag Radials, they hook awsome, you want more grab just lower the tire pressure, 12psi should give you outstanding results, but DO NOT use in rainy weather! at all!!!
btw, about those two that are in jail for street racing and killing some people...... did you see where the morons finish line was?, at a frigging intersection, and they obviously saw a car coming at them and went anyway, there not too bright to begin with!!!

Re: et streets or et drags? no i dont watch court tv. killing someone street racing is something to think about.where we race there is no inter section only long empty roads,but we have some brave souls or dumb asses who like to stand at the finish line where cars come by at 120mph.i dont like the track,it's packed and to get two or three runs an hour when you pay $,not my thing. thanks for the replies.(all of them)

It would be cool if you could find a track like i found,i was tired of racing after 11 races.
