Tire pressure with slicks
I would start a little high and see if you can hook without spinning. The lower the tire pressure the more the car will sway on the top end.

It looks like it unloads the tire, just kind of pops up the front end some and comes right back down to me.
I would list or find these things out before you change anything, you need a starting point to know where you're at and where you need t go.
As far as tire pressure, every car and tire size is different, most people lower the psi till they get the best 60ft without losing mph.
Is your car an auto? Have you tried running a drag radial? The drag radial tire compound is actually softer than most of the slicks that size.
