Default Finally ready for the track.

I though the relocating brackets were way over priced until I made this one. This was the final road block to getting the car on the drag strip. I tested it pretty good last night on the way home from the local cruise spot. Its amazing, the entire car feels a lot tighter and even the shifter feels better. I have a very slight clunk when going over bumps in the street but its quiet in normal driving/shifting. All I need to do now is make a bracket for the crotch strap on the five point harness and bolt the slicks/skinnys up.

Next to the original tranny mount.

Bolted up and street tested.

Does the TA not have to be able to move back and forth or is it able to?

In the least perverted sounding way... the 3/4" rod on the front of the TA is greased and slides back and fourth in the rod end.

Its a carbon fiber piece from ACPT, its been in the car since 01 with zero issues, very pleased with it.

Its an LG torque arm, to my knowledge its the only one that uses a spherical rod end for the mounting. Worked out great for me since it made for little fab work to make it work with the new crossmember.
