Default "In the XX's"

So at what point are you considered to be "in the 10's?" Is it when you have a timeslip with an 10 on it, or when your corrected time is in the 10's? In other words, when can you be in the 10 second club (not that I'm close by either definition)?

I have my own opinion, but I'm just curious what others think.

but like said before, this aint hondatech and i still have a slow 11.53 pos

eh, its ok, for a stock suspension, stock 10 bolt, stock geared, fully loaded 6 speed on nittos with a 3000 foot DA.

illl be happy when it goes consistent 10s on motor, then see what happens when i spray it.

just sux right now cause the only cars that will race me are all out track cars and bikes, i cant find a typical street car that will run me anymore after people have seen my car race

Just because the corection has your car running faster doesn't mean your car can actually do it. It still has to hook. Its like adding more HP, it doesn't allways go faster the more HP you add.
Its kinda like if your barley hooking now
You add a 100 shot all the way down the track
You will most likely lose a lot of time from spinning.

If its not on the slip then you didn't run it.

Thanks, folks. That's what I think, too. Although I am surprised at the consensus on the poll. I think you could post up a poll on here asking what 2+3 is, and 1/3 of the votes would be for 7.

you slug that th400 in like you're thinking about doing, and get some suspension on it and the needed safety stuff..... and you're going a second faster then you are right now.

Be it even a 10.9998 its still a 10 sec run. But if you live in Colorado and adjust for the lack of air, even then your gonna get some flack. Take the car to a real track, such as a Atco, Etown, Ned, or Maple Grove, you will run a faster time and get it on paper.
