stock hood weight

just in case anyone is wondering, a stock ls1 hood weights in at 50lbs

my harwood ss lift off hood is 15lbs

i didn't weight the hood brackets or anything. but all together i would say both brackets, shocks, and latch were 15lbs

Yes stock, flat firebird hood with brackets and shocks weighed 50 lbs.VFN glass hood PIN ON and fastners,11.5 lbs

Yeah your stock SS hood will be about 47-48 lbs.

My VFN WS6 bolton was 26 lbs, and the VFN Sunoco on the Camaro was about the same.

yup my SS hood was 47Lbs and the stock LT1 hood was 44
