Default Comp. Engineering vs QA1 Econ.

Looking at some rear shocks for the car and trying to choose between the QA1 Economy and the Comp. Engineering shocks. Both are around the same price, and looking to use it on a stock-spring car for street/strip. Any advice?

I ran the C/E 3 way adjustable for years and they work great for a street strip car. I ran mine on 50/50.

There are definitely better options out there for a rear shock setup, but for the price it is hard to beat the Competition Engineering units. We run them out back on both of our shop cars, and the black car goes 1.2x 60 foots.

Sorry for hacking the thread, but I see you're over in Moorsville. I want to run the 7.0 index class there next year. Do you know where I can find some info on it?

I use the CE rear shocks as well, never heard of the QA1 'economy' though. Main reason I use the CEs is the larger diameter strange/afco/QA1s dont fit with the spohn rear sway bar and I'm too lazy to swap sway bars or relocate the lower shock mounts
