505hp/550tq 13.2s?
Hi everyone, my neighbor has an 02 m6 ta that he installed the sts system on. Its dyno tuned at 505hp/ 550 tq. We went to the track yesterday and it being his first time he managed not to hit the wall with a necksnapping 14.1 pass. His second run was a 13.2 (which I was not there to witness, but I was told the launch was just as bad as the first run) Not so much a matter of the 60 foot as a matter of roasting the tires from a stop through the 1/8th and trying to stay away from the other lane and the wall. The morral of the story is, with experience or a diffrent driver, what do you guys guestimate his et should be at? Thanks.

Hell I ran a 13.8 with mods in my sig. (I know it's horrible) My 60' was 2.4 cause my clutch was shot and bald Sumitomo's (shitty combo). After I could floor it I still managed to trap 109 MPH. Haven't gotten back since the LS7 clutch install but I should be mid 12's I'd like to think.

What were his trap speeds? And is it a six speed car or auto? With that kind of power and a sticky tire 10's are possible. But launching a turbo car can be a bit tricky. I would say with a manual trans and a drag radial, mid 11's. If its an auto on a drag radial and a decent converter setup for the turbo, high 10's.

With a good 1.5 or better 60 foot, an efficient driveline and banging the gears hard, 10s should be a problem. Keep in mind turbos and blowers tend to give slightly higher rwhp figures at peak due to being at full boost, and sometimes the low end isn't there like if the 505 rwhp was from an N/A car that makes the power the entire way.

Im making 508HP N/A and the car runs 10.4's @ 131
I guess it will all depend on the other mods the car has, rear/tires/suspension/clutch and driver lol
But 500HP is enough to run 10's if you really drive the car for all its worth.

my car makes 451 rwhp and I rand 10.73@127
I have only had the car out 2 times and I know it has more in it the 60ft is still weak(1.5)
I am in the process of taking out some weight we will see in the spring how she runs.
I think with 550 rwhp 9.99 is doable with a good 60ft
