Jegs Cage yea or nay....

Jegs Cage yea or nay.... I am thinking about getting a Jegs cage(8 point) so I can run my car without lifting at the 1/8th.
I have a buddy who is an excellent welder and has done many custom set ups from suspension to body modifications to frame work. He said to order one up and he would do the work for half of what the shops charge around these parts. I really need to spend as little as possible because I am catching major flack from my G/F and Family for my spending on my car, so I feel the Jegs bar is the way to go. I read the great write up that Fear the LS1 had but has there been anymore Jegs installs since then, Let me know. If any of you have pics of where you mounted the door bars and rear bars that would be great.

Re: Jegs Cage yea or nay.... I agree with Todd it's going to be a lot of work to get it to fit. your better off spending a little extra money and going with the wolfe cage .. thats what I have and the shop who did the install said it was the best fit aftermarket bar he has seen..
