Jerico, I'm running the 29.5x9.0x15S m/t Its tight ,but should be fine. If you decide to go the stick route I have another linkage set up I'll sell ya for the 4 speed.

I haven't made a pass with this thing yet ,but I'm hoping for March!

Tim,
If you ever get close to the Atlantic Ocean you got a ride. Wayne would be a welcome addition to the team, but what would I do with all of these torque converters?

Default Linkage

Tim,
Are you using the hydaulic linkage? That was another concern with the Stainless Tri-Y headers we are not sure if we can get mechanical linkage to bolt up to an LS-1.

....what I meant was what does "stocker" mean? Stock style suspension?

The linkage is a manual linkage that Gary Russell made me It has a z-bar and everything. My buddy thought he wanted one too ,but now doesn't. The headers are kumercraft, I have his number if you need it they bolt right up with this set up and the linkage. Its just like an old camaro type clutch. The hydraulic stuff just doesn't work very well. Gary said he has done several of these in the past and I'm sure you have heard of him also.

Let me know if I can help you out.

Stock Eliminator is a class for production based race cars. They are limited to factory submitted specifications with very few performance upgrades allowed. You can find a classification guide, blueprint specs., indexes, and national records listed on NHRA.com.

They are limited to unported heads and intake, factory lift cam (any duration), blueprinted motor, stock throttle body, open headers, stock interior, any corporate transmission, any stall, and nine inch tires. All cars have to weigh a specific weight and are checked after every pass. Fuel is checked. The motor can be "torn down" at most any time to check that it is legal.

My old Camaro has run 10.4's at 3200+ lbs with a 1.30 sixty foot time in "bracket mode" (LT1).

A really fun class to run!

John,

The legal weight is 3,080 lbs for A/FIA. The car with 4 gal of gas in the cell and me in the seat weighs in at 3100. I carry 75 lbs in the weight box.

Sweet. So does it wheelstand like that because you are running a ton of converter and/or the lack of weight on the front end? I remember a friend of mine doing something like but his converter went to like 6500 on nitrous and he stood it up.

I've got an ATI 5500 converter sitting here ready to wake up my Camaro on motor.
