In BAD need of a line lock!
First round of eliminations....no idea what to dial in at since my 1 and only time trial was a waste....I though 12.5 on the glass. This time there is a little water. Try to heat up my tires and the SS is walking a bit to the right. Let out early and roll up to the line. I dump the clutch at about 5000rpm. I spun about the first 5 ft the hooked to a 1.77 60ft
Hit the gears but I only shifted at 6000 on the factory tach since I past the other guy just past the 60ft and he dialed in at 14.50(he had a 2.2 60ft and ran a 14.7x). I broke out with a 12.20@112mph. I was wondering why the MPH was so low but I guess the track conditions, heat(upper 80s with 90+ percent humidity), and low shift points would account for that. But anyway I need s good linelock to help me get a consistent burnout. SLP or Thunder kit???????? See sig for mods on the 99 SS.
