Spring Seat Adjustors or Shocks?
I've been getting a lot of advice from a bunch of different people about getting my car ready to see the 10's
I have one person telling me to buy the Wolfe spring seat adjustors to run with my QA1's
I have another person saying that I might not really need the adjustors, and I can just adjust my QA1's depending on track conditions
remember 6 speed car, hard launches (5000+ RPM dumps) and 150 shot
Do I need adjustors? Or just roll with the QA1's?
for a referance, I was running mid 10's all season n/a, and my suspension consiss of:
qa1 12 way rears set at 5
wolfe drag bar preloaded about a 1/4 turn to get the car to leave level
relocation brackets one hole down from stock
adj panhard and lca's squaring the car up
bmr chromoly stock style adj. tq arm, -2 deg pinion angle
bmr th400 crossmember with tq arm relocation, tq arm 4 holes up from bottom with the lower bolts
qa1 R series front shocks, set on 4
275 lb springs, adjusted so the front ride height is about an inch lower then stock
Nothing special or fancy, and it works pretty good. Car consistantly will 60 foot 1.4x's on motor off the transbrake and ran a best of 1.35 on a little 100 shot of nitrous, went faster with the 150 shot but it actually 60 footed worse. 3500 lb race weight too, so it's far from light.

The other thing is once it's that low the stock length shock is almost bottomed out. I only have about 2" of travel left downward now.
