Need Help With Head & Cam Setup I have a 02ss that i have been bracket racing for the past 2 years.Been doing very well but the car finally broke the 10 bolt and the 60e(both at the same time)The car is a cam only car with a comp 220/224@.588 @114.I have now switched to a turbo 350 with a cameron 9" 4000 nitrous converter,and moser 12 bolt with 4.30's full spool.I am gonna be bracket racing every weekend but want to run gas for some grudge races.Will be shootin a 150 possibly 200 from home.I need some ideas on heads and cam's for this kind of setup.This is a track only car and i have a great tuner here to grt me going.I am looking for a setup that will last atleast a season and will be reliable.I am thinking about patriot heads but not sure which ones.I have a set of 6 litre heads off a 02 2500hd if they would work well also????What you guys think??
As far as cam shaft on nitrous I would say something around 240/250 with 620 or so lift on a 114 lobe.
As far as heads for a stock displacement motor on nitrous I like the AFR because they have a 3/4" thick deck.
