I was wondering kinda the same thing.My motor is 13.68:1 and I just hope if I buy one it will start.

13.8-1 is a good amount of compression, that 398 cca is going to be hurting

Good thing it isn't carbureted, a few cranks without it firing right up that thing would be dead.

yeah looks like I Want the Deka or if not that the odyssey pc680 , if its too weak then Ill use the PC925

I honestly can't tell you how it would work out on a motor with that compression. If you search this site, there are a few people using it with LS1s.

I think everyone might be caught up in the rated amount of the battery. The PC680 is this websites battery of choice for both LS1 and LT1 and it has a rating of 220CCA, yet gets the job done fine.

I have run the PC680 for over a year. My car sits all the time and always starts. It is easy to kill the batt though. I had my interior lights for maybe 30mins and had to jump the car off. It may be because I dont drive the cra that much to recharge the batt.

So I have narrowed it down to the PC680 or the Deka. Which of these 2 would be more suitable for a DD car
