How long are 5 point harnesses good for

I was thinking 3 years but wanted to verify. Mine just turned 4 years old. Can you get them recertified?

I think 2 years mine has the expire date punched out on it

And it will probably cost you as much to get them re-certed as it would to buy a new one.

Depends who you buy. M&R and RJS are both right around $40 to $50. That is close if you run latch links, but if you notice, most fast cars and all professional cars have camlocks.

Yep, two years. I would get a cam lock one for $100 or so, and then just pay for them to re-certify it after it expires in 2 years. They are so much nicer than the regular latches.
