Just curious if anyone here has tried a set of the Toyo slicks or heard anything about them?
The advertising for them says the hook on hot or cold tracks with minimal burnout and have good wear and will last longer than others.

.
I know 2 brothers that tried them for T/S. Didn't like. Tried same size as they were using, couldn't get off the line.
Tried 2-3 different days, finally gave up.

they hook like no other joe. matt has them on his mustang and the s10. i have a brand new set that is tentativly sold, but if he backs out, you are welcome to them. if i knew you were looking, id have already hooked you up.
im going to go to a 29" QTP so i can run them street/track on the same rims.

We are running Toyo's on the Nova. 33x16 / 15's.
We only have a few hits on 'em though. We ran 'em low, around 6 and 7 psi. Moves around a bit on the big end so we are going to take 'em up to 9 - 12 next trip out in a couple of months.
665 cid, 1150 fwhp n/a, Glide, Fab9 w/ 4.30's and leaving at 4,500. I/C set out frt so we don't throw the frt end up. Minimal rolling burn. Dead hooks everytime.
But, we are still dialing them in.
